Wax One is another piece of the body of work that deals with eventuality and materiality. White stripes are silkscreened in several layers onto dark brown wax molded in rectangle plates. The temperature and pressure sensitive materiality and structure of the wax reacts to the printmaking process. Tools leave visible marks, and hands leave fingerprints. The printed image reacts to the slopes and dales of the surface.
