With On Broadway I and II I follow my fascination for elevated trains in New York City and their shadow plays in the streets. The work combines digital and analog techniques to create a unique look. It is based on a digital photograph that became vectorized and distorted. The new image was exposed on a light sensitive zinc plate, which was used later as a matrix in the intaglio printmaking process.
